Actually I discovered it last year. Scratch that, before I finally found out it was a fetish, I always had a fascination with the feel and sound of a heartbeat and I thought it was cool when I could hear mine. Heck, even in books I've read as a kid that had the characters going to the doctor, I would always want to stay on the page where the doctor would use his/her stethoscope on them. I couldn't figure out why before but I always did that and would get excited about it.

Fast forward to last year. I got sick with the flu and had to stay home from school. While I was sick, I could feel my heart beating faster and harder and I got the urge to listen to it with a stethoscope. I couldn't get it out of my head. Then I googled it and found other people had that same desire so I didn't feel so weird after that. Then that very weekend when I felt better, I went to a local pharmacy and bought a steth for $10. I've been enjoying it ever since and one day, I'll allow the man I marry to use it on me during... you know.
